Juice has been bubbling in Arizona for the last 5 years or so. After singing with The Game’s BWS imprint, things looked so promising for Mr. Evans. He was the flagship artist for BWS, had a feature in XXL, and could be found on all over the mixtape scene holding his own on songs with The Game. They were a real one-two punch on the tracks they did together.
Then something happened, Doctor’s Advocate had ZERO BWS artists guest features, and Juice ended up signing some sort of joint deal with Amare Stoudemire’s record label. Fast forward to now, Juice is no longer affiliated with Amare’s label, The Game’s stature in the hip hop isn’t once where it was (He has yet to release a single artist’s project from BMS), and has since taken things into his own hands by dropping 2 stellar mixtapes American Me Vol’s 1 and 2. Considering he has always been consistent with dropping dope shit, and has a fan base that most AZ MC’s lack, Juice is VERY deserving of the #5 spot on my list.
If you missed #’s 10-6

Still to this day… Juice’s greatest mixtape was “Death Certificate (Special Edition)”. Check the numbers! We earned multiple Justo mixtape award nominations for that project in 2008. Others came close but none surpassed. Here’s the link: http://www.datpiff.com/Juice-Death-Certificate-Special-Edition-mixtape.13621.html
