So 2012 is right around the corner, and there was just a FAKE XXL Freshman List for 2012 that leaked which you can see below, so I took it upon myself to straighten this list out with whom I think is most deserving for the new XXL Cover. . .you can also check out what my predictions were for last year which I got 6 MC’s right now HERE

Fake XXL 2012 List
Above is the fake rumored list that someone put out today, hit the jump and check out my predictions for who is gonna be on the list for the 2012 issue!
XV

I thought XV got RIPPED off by not being included on last years list- he has done more than enough to solidify that he is deserving this time around by dropping one of the best pieces of work of the year in Zero Heroes and being featured in the new Beats by Dre Verizon commercial- 2012 is Vizzy’s year!
A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky has garnered quite the buzz for himself in a short amount of time! With a Drizzy co-sign and a popular mix tape out, plus a new deal with RCA worth 1.8 million dollars…shits shaping up well for the young Harlem MC!
Stalley

Branding his Intelligent Trunk Music sure did pay off for Stalley this year, as his success of his mixtape Lincoln Way Nights earned him a deal with Rick Ross’ MMG Imprint. Hopefully Stalley will pick up where Meek Mill and Wale have left off with this MMG thang!
French Montana

While I’m not the biggest French fan (Haven’t heard enough of his music to have a real opinion), he has been on his shit this year, and now it’s official he has signed with Bad Boy Records. . .it should be a big year for this dude.
Dom Kennedy

Dom Kennedy another MC who was deserving of this cover last year, but has done more than enough this year to solidify that spot!
Future

This Future dude cannot rap to save his life- but hey neither can Waka (who I’m a converted fan of)- so watch Future have a big 2012 after locking down a new record deal and having one of the hottest hood anthems of the year!
Casey Veggies

Fresh off opening up for Mac Miler on the Blue Slide Park Tour, and rumors of Jay-Z being interested in the young cali spitter have the new year looking good for Mr. Veggies.
Machine Gun Kelly

He’s already dropped my favorite video of the year (Wild Boy), and while I’m not a big fan of his music per say- I do respect this dude’s grind. He’s got a dedicated following, and is primed to be a star in 2012.
Slim The Mobster

Dre’s latest protege is what the West Coast has been missing, A CERTIFIED GANGSTER RAPPER w/ Dr. Dre’s backing…..Hopefully Dre will do something with this guy in the new year
Childish Gambino

I’m not sure if Gambino qualify’s since his debut album debuted this past month? Either way, after is album Camp debuted in the top 10 on billboard with NO LABEL and NO SINGLE, things can only get better from here in 2012!
