It’s official my new mixtape is finally OUT! I have been putting it together since February, and it’s finally HERE! With nothing but 100% exclusives, I am very proud of the final product. I wanna give a big shout out and thank you to all of the talented artists and producers that allowed me to have there creations on my first mixtape. The point of this tape is to kind of make a statement, that statement is that the “Bootleg Kev” name and brand is on it’s way to doing big things. The 2nd leak off of my upcoming project Empire Business also serves as the first song and intro on the project. The song comes from a good friend and 1 of my favorite MC’s out right now Rittz (Who’s new album The Life & Times of Johnny Valiant drops April 30th.. I am excited to announce that I will be collaborating with AZ rapper Vee for an upcoming mixtape titled “Rula”. I am excited for the project, which be released sometime in the coming months of 2013. Vee is a dope MC, below you can check out my personal favorite joint from this dude, “Bag Of Purp”. Be on the look out for some great music from this kid!

I had the pleasure of meeting Rose back in early 2010, and I have been a big advocate and fan of his ever since. I’m proud and blessed to have been apart of this project! I have been honored with the opportunity to Mix & Host the next Cornerstone Mixtape (November #143). I got a few exclusive records from some of my favorite artists for the tape, and this is the first of 2 that I’m going to leak out! My dog Emilio Rojas murdered this freestyle! We had a conversation regarding it, and Emilio just told me to surprise him with 3 hot instrumentals- so I cut up 3 of my favorites for him to spit over- Big L “Ebonics”, Evidence “You”, and Pusha T “Trouble on My Mind” – 3 Minutes of incredible lyricism were the result!
